HARRY E. HOENESS, Winterset

Services for Harry E. Hoeness, 77, Winterset, who died Sept. 25, 1984 at the Bethesda Care Center here were held Friday, Sept. 28 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Byron Ayers officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Madison County on Sept. 11, 1907, he was the son of Samuel and Mabel Comp Hoeness. Mr. Hoeness spent his lifetime in Madison County and was a member of the Pitzer Presbyterian Church. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include two former wives, Lois B. Hoeness and Lura E. Hoeness, both of Winterset; a son Dean of Winterset; a daughter, Carol Ann Stevenson of Tucson, Ariz,; four grandchildren and a great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
