MORTUARY

Marjorie Ellen Bellman, daughter of Hugh and Hazel Bellman, was born in Madison county, Iowa, March 21, 1929, and passed away at the home of her parents, Oct. 3, 1939 after an illness of two weeks, at the age of 19 years, 6 months and 12 days. From early childhood Marjorie has been an active, loyal member of the West Star Methodist church, and in her illness she gave clear evidence that she was cheered by bright hope of immortal life in the Heavenly home.

Marjorie attended the schools of Madison county, graduating from the Winterset high school with the class of 1936.

That fall she entered Simpson college where she was a student for two years. While in college she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.

The immediate family so unexpectedly and deeply bereft, are the mother and father, one sister, Mrs. John W. Foster, a brother-in-law, John W. Foster, one living grandparent, Mrs. Sadie E. Howell, her fiancé, Lloyd R. Bond, all of Winterset, and numerous relatives and friends. The circle of bereavement consolations of God are not small with these friends for they have the precious memory of a radiantly beautiful life closed on early only that it may begin its unending development and ministries in the home above.

The funeral was held from the First Methodist church in Winterset, Thursday, Oct. 5, 1939, at 2:30, conducted by the Rev. J. R. McNichols. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
