The death of the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Easter, last week brought sadness to the hearts of the family and friends and the sympathy of their acquaintances will be extended to them in their bereavement.
The little girl, Kate, was born Jan. 5, 1899 and died Jan. 22, 1912, aged 13 years and 17 days. From birth, she was a hopeless cripple and her utter dependence on others endeared her to parents, brother and sisters and her death leaves a heart ache that can only be realized by those who have shared a similar sorrow.
Although helpless at all times and suffering much, er constant good nature and cheerful disposition showed a fortitude most rare. The memory of her sunny childhood, under adverse conditions, will continue to be an inspiration to right living on the part of her friends and loved ones in the years to come.
