LLOYD HOENESS Died Friday

Lloyd C. Hoeness, a well-known farmer in Jackson township where he was a life-time resident, died Friday, July 19, 1968, at Memorial hospital in Winterset, after an extended illness. He was 62 years of age.

Mr. Hoeness was a son of Samuel G. and Mabel Comp Hoeness, and was born in Jackson township Feb. 18, 1906. He was married to Blanche Howell on Dec. 16, 1925. She survives him.

His life-time was spent in farming in ths community. He was a member of the Pitzer United Presbyterian church.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Harry Reed and Mrs. Larry Jackson, both of Winterset; six grandchildren; and a brother, Harry Hoeness of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Pitzer United Presbyterian church, conducted by the Rev. Charles White. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
