BLANCHE HOENESS, Winterset

Blanche M. Hoeness, 89, of Winterset, died of a heart ailment April 17, 1996, at the Community Care of Winterset. Funeral services were April 20 at the First United Methodist Church in Winterset. Pastor Don Frank officiated the services and burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

She was born in Madison County on Aug. 14, 1906 to Charles and Sadie (Lovelace) Howell. She married Lloyd C. Hoeness on Dec. 16, 1925 at Winterset. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Madison County. She was a member of the Madison County Farm Bureau and Esther Circle of the First United Methodist Church of which she was also a member.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; and two sisters.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Virginia I. Reed and Twyla J. Jackson, both of Winterset; one brother, Aaron Howell of Winterset; seven grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
