MRS. HUGH BELLMAN Died Here Sunday

Mrs. Hugh Bellman of Winterset died Sunday, April 18, 1965, at Memorial hospital here, after a brief illness. She was 69 years of age.

Mrs. Bellman was a life-time resident of Madison county. She was the former Margaret Hazel Howell, daughter of Charles E. and Sadie Lovelace Howell. She was born in Douglas township Dec. 5, 1895, and spent her life there until moving to Winterset in 1947.

She was married to Hugh Bellman on Jan. 26, 1916. He preceded her in death. One daughter, Marjorie, died in 1939.

She was a member of the First Methodist church, in which she was active in the Women's Society for Christian Service. She was also a member of P.E.O. and the Columbian club.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John Foster, and two grandchildren, all of Winterset; four brothers, Orville Howell of Runnells, and Garland, Clarence and Aaron Howell of Madison County; and a sister, Mrs. Lloyd Hoeness of this community.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the First Methodist church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
