Carol L. Bond, Winterset

Graveside services for Carol L. Bond, 74, Winterset, who died Feb. 25 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, were held at the Winterset Cemetery Feb. 27 with the Rev. Clarence Lautt officiating.

Born in Webster township of Madison County on April 18, 1912, she was the daughter of W. A. and Olive Edna Smith Bond. She was a retired secretary and a volunteer worker for the Madison County Elderly Service meal site program.

Survivors include a brother, Nelson of Earlham; and sisters, Fern Kerns and Lillian McAdow, both of Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
