Miriam M. Wildin, St. Charles

Services for Miriam M. Wildin, 69, were held Sat. Nov. 17 at St. Charles Parish with the Rev. Thomas Webster officiating. Wildin died November 14 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

A lifetime resident of Madison County, she was born March 9, 1921 to Curtis and Sula (Hermon) Poland. She married Clarence Wildin February 21, 1942 in Grant City, Missouri.

She was a member of the St. Charles Parish where she was a Sunday school teacher and active in the church. She was a homemaker, a former rural school teacher, active in 4-H, a member of the Farm Bureau, Bevington Garden Club, Rolling Wheels Camping Club, Peace and Happiness Quilters Club, Des Moines Botanical Center, Honey Bee Quilters of Winterset and a lifetime member of the Madison County Historical Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Surviving are husband; sons, Vin of Winterset, Greg of Bridgewater, Randal of St. Charles; a daughter, Terrill Warren of Indianola; a sister, Joan Cullen of Crystal Lake; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Burial was at Montpelier Cemetery at Patterson. Memorials will be made to the family.
