HALDEN STORRS OF WINTERSET DIES

Funeral Services Will Be Held this Thursday From Wilson's

Halden Storrs, formerly a well-known Winterset produce dealer and a resident of this community all his life, died Tuesday, May 14 at his home here, after a long illness. He was 66 years of age.

Mr. Storrs was born in this county, Sept. 6, 1896, a son of Eugene O. and Margaret Janeway Storrs. He had engaged in the produce business in Winterset for many years, but had retired prior to his final illness.

He was a member of the Winterset lodge of the I.O.O.F.

Mr. Storrs was married to Vivian Addy in Winterset May 21, 1926. She survives him. He also leaves a daughter, Mrs. John Drake of Winterset; three grandsons; a brother, Eugene Storrs of Des Moines; and a sister, Mrs. Io Cope of Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Wilson Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Robert Owens, pastor of the First Christian Church here. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
