Services for Jerome Wright, 83, Winterset, who died May 12 at Des Moines General Hospital, were held Wednesday afternoon, May 14, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. David Bauer officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
Born in Madison County June 16, 1902, he was the son of Charles and Eva Griffith Wright. He was owner and operator of Wright Clothing Store here for over 65 years.
He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Winterset, the Rotary Club and past member of the Lakeview Country Club. On June 21, 1929, he was married to Georgia Catherine Bruett in Winterset.
Survivors include his wife; and a brother, Edward, of Winterset.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
