1962HARRY NALEAN DIED SATURDAY
Madison County Resident For 30 Years; Was 84 Years Old
Harry NaLean of near Winterset, a Madison county resident for the last 30 years, died Saturday, Dec. 30, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 84 years of age.
Mr. NaLean was a native of Bureau county, Illinois, where he was born June 13, 1877, a son of Lewis and Mary Rodine NaLean. He was married to Alma Ecklund at Princeton, Mo. Her death occurred in 1948.
His life in this community was spent farming north of Winterset. He was a member of the Early Chapel church.
He leaves a step-daughter, Mrs. Vera Larick of Palmdale, Calif.; two step-granddaughters; a brother, Charles NaLean of Ogden; and three sisters, Mabel NaLean, his twin-sister, Minerva NaLean, and Mrs. Mildred Inskup, all of Tampa, Fla.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Collins Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Robert Owens, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset. Burial was made in Resthaven cemetery in West Des Moines.
