Winterset, IowaOn December the 31st his daughter, Lizzie departed to the spirit world. She had been complaining for a long while. For the last four months she had been confined to her bed all the time. She said just before she died she would "soon be with her pa, where they would never part no more." Her remains were laid beside her pa's.
