Frances Handley, 90, of Winterset, died June 3, 1994 at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Funeral services were June 6, 1994 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Dickerson officiating. Burial was at the Lorimor Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 19, 1903 in Barney to Elias and Hannah (Johnson) Simpson. She married Guy Handley on Dec. 25, 1922 in Madison County. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church and vaious church groups. She was also a member of the Holliwell Happy Hour Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers; and one sister.
