Near the close of the year Madison county lost one of her very best citizens. After many weary months of sickness Mr. George W. Breeding, of Scott, passed away. None knew Mr. Breeding but to respect him. He was, indeed, one of nature's best noblemen; kind to a fault, open hearted, hospitable-long will he be remembered by sorrowing friends.
