Last Thursday Henry Baker, of this city, was carried to his last resting place. He was seriously sick but a day or two. Paralysis was the immediate cause of death. Mr. baker has for many months been unwell, and a few weeks ago he had a cancer removed from his cheek. But he was able to be around and no fears of such a result was entertained by himself or friends. He was much respected by all who knew him. His funeral was largely attended.
