Services for Helen Egy, 84, rural Winterset, who died March 28 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, were held Sat. March 31, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Zona Lautt officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

She was married to Ray Egy on February 16, 1927 in Des Moines. A homemaker, she was a lifetime resident of Madison County and a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Good Neighbor and the Farm Bureau.

Survivors include daughters, Donna Egy of West Des Moines and Shirley Bossenberger of Ames; brothers, Eugene and Woodrow, both of Winterset; sisters, Margaret Welch and Mary Egy, both of Winterset; and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two children and a brother.
