Cleta June Oglesbee, 87, of Winterset, died June 14, 1995, at Madison County Memorial Hospital of a heart ailment. Funeral services were held at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with the Rev. John Shaull officiating. Burial was at the King Cemetery in Madison County.
She was born June 29, 1907, in Madison County to Ed and Jettie Alice (Leanhart) Hess. She married Everett Oglesbee on Jan. 23, 1927 in Winterset. She was a lifetime resident of Winterset and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother; four sisters; and one grandson.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Patricia Turner of Winterset and Shirley Overskei and husband Ernest of Nunda, S.D.; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
