Gale Marston, 90, of Earlham died July 12, 1994 at the Earlham Care Center. Services were held July 14 at the Earlham First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Andrew Bosman officiating. The body was cremated and a private family interment service will be held at a later date.
He was born June 2, 1904, to Jasper and Susan (Waters) Marston in Madison County. He married Gayle Marston on August 15, 1928. A lifelong resident of Madison County, he was a farmer, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Earlham of which he was an elder and trustee, a member of Farm Bureau and was an active conservationalist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and one sister.
Surviving relatives include a daughter, Barbara Marston of Des Moines; two sons, Ted Marston of Kirkland, Wash., and Paul Marston of Earlham; and one grandson.
Memorials may be made to the Earlham First Presbyterian Church or the Earlham Rescue Unit.
