1962ERNEST FRANK DIED AT TRURO
Death Came Suddenly Last Wednesday at His Home
Ernest G. Frank, prominent resident of the Truro community for many year, died suddenly last Wednesday, Oct. 3, at his farm home east of Truro. He was 70 years of age.
Mr. Frank was a life-long resident of the Truro community. He was born there July 15, 1892, a son of Henry and Tillie Neidt Frank. His active life was spent in farming. He also worked with the P.M.A. in the county for many years.
He was married Feb. 10, 1915, to Bessie Loy, who survives him.
He was a member of the Truro-Congregational Christian church.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughter, Mrs. Darlene Johnson of Winterset and Mrs. Doris Johnson of Osceola; and two sons, Dale and Doyle Frank of Winterset. He also leaves 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Earnie Youmans of Truro and Mrs. Mamie Davis of Salinas, Calif.; and a half-brother, Ross Frank of Waterloo; and a half-sister, Mrs. Lawrence Simmons of Peru.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Truro Congregational Christian church, in charge of the Rev. Millard Marshall and the Rev. Marguerite Shepard of Lorimor. Burial was made in the Murray cemetery.
