Lora Jane Dabner, Winterset

Funeral services for Lora Jane Dabner, 94, were held Sat., Dec. 14 at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Zona Lautt officiating. Mrs. Dabner died at Bethesda Care Center where she was a resident.

Born in Fairbury, Neb. October 30, 1897, she was the daughter of William and Emma Palmer. She married Raymond Dabner October 19, 1918 in Fairbury, Neb. She lived in Winterset for the past 47 years, coming from Perry. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and Pythian Sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and a granddaughter.

Surviving are a son, Jack Dabner of Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Joan Kuntz of Des Moines and Jane Martens of Winterset; a sister, Jessie Harlan of Fairbury, Neb.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Burial was at Winterset Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
