MARVIN MONAGON Service Held on Tuesday

Funeral services for Marvin H. Monagon of Winterset, who died Saturday night, (Aug. 26, 1950), as result of injuries sustained in the automobile collision east of Patterson, were held this Tuesday from the Anderson home for funerals here. The services were held in charge of the Rev. Boyd Zoeller. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Mr. Monagon was 30 years of age at the time of his death. He was born May 30, 1920 at Pawnee City, Nebr., the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Monagon, now of Winterset. He came to Madison County with his parents in 1923 and this community had been his home since that time.

He was married in 1942 to Jeanne Fisher of Lorimor, who survives him. In addition to his wife and parents, he also leaves two daughters, Linda and Lyla; and three sisters, Mrs. Wayne Hood of Peru, Mrs. Don Nichols of DeSoto and Mrs. Don Miller of East Moline, Ill. His only brother preceded him in death.
