MRS. FRED LEWIS Dies at 87 Years

Mrs. Frederick A. Lewis, member of a prominent Winterset family, died Sunday, June 2, 1963, at a nursing home here. She was 87 years of age.

Mrs. Lewis was a life-time resident of Winterset, she was the former Myrtle M. Mullinix, daughter of Thomas L. and Elizabeth Harris Swansea Mullinix, and was born here March 21, 1876.

She was married Oct. 5, 1902, to Frederick A. Lewis of Winterset. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Winterset Methodist church. She was affiliated with P.E.O. and the Current Topic club here.

She is survived by a son, Reginald Lewis of Laguna Beach, Calif., and a grandson, Steven Hayes Lewis.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday morning from the Wilson Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. John C. Porath, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Winterset. Burial was to be made in the Winterset Cemetery.
