September 2, 1998Zylpha P. DeBok, 84, of Winterset died of a heart attack Sept, 1998 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept 3, at Ochiltree Funeral Service, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
Zylpha DeBok was born June 11, 1914, near Patterson in Madison County to Dee and Edna (Rhoads) DeBok. Zylpha had been a homemaker all her life. She also loved to grow flowers, which won her many ribbons at the county fair.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by one sister, Lois Spera of Winterset.
