Kathryn DeBok, Winterset

Services for Kathryn DeBok, 70, a Winterset native who died Dec. 23 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, were held Monday, Dec. 27, at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Byron Ayers and the Rev. Lee Roy Collins officiating. Burial was at the Winterset cemetery.

Born in Winterset Oct. 15, 1912, she was the daughter of Harry and Mary Hulick Brandt. She married Howard DeBok, Jan. 26, 1940 in Winterset. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Hoosier Prairie Club, the Metallic Club and the United Methodist Women.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon and Diane DeBok, both of Des Moines; and a brother, Raymond Brandt of Winterset. Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, and a brother, Walter.
