Roger Easley, Earlham

Roger Lamar Easley, 60, of Earlham died Nov. 20, 2003, in Batesville, Ind.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 24, at the Earlham Friends Church with Pastor Linda Burnett officiating. Burial was at Earlham Cemetery.

Roger Easley was born Dec. 19, 1942, in Jefferson to Lamar and Ruby (Henson) Easley. He attended Dexter Community Schools and graduated from Earlham High School in 1961. He also attended the Missouri School of Mines for one year. On March 14, 1964, he was united in marriage to Betty Koboldt at the Friends Church in Earlham. For the better part of 39 years, Roger traveled the highways of the United States as a professional over-the-road truck driver. He was a member of the Earlham Friends Church.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Easley of Earlham; a daughter, Judy Jaeckel of Corydon; a son, Jeff Easley of Earlham; his parents, Lamar and Ruby Easley of Dexter; a brother, Jim Easley of Earlham; and six grandchildren.
