MRS. CORA KRELL Buried Monday

Mrs. Cora B. Krell, widow of the late John W. Krell of Winterset, died last Thursday, Feb. 20, 1958, at Humboldt, where she had made her home with a daughter the last three years. She was 88 years of age.

Mrs. Krell spent her life in Madison county until three years ago. She was the former Cora B. Hart, daughter of Andrew and Caroline (Welty) Hart, and was born in Madison county April 2, 1869. As a young woman she taught school in Madison and Adair counties until her marriage, on March 7, 1893, to John W. Krell.

As a girl she was a member of the Oak Grove E.U.B. church, later transferring to the Winterset Methodist church, where she remained a member for 50 years. She was active in this church for many years, having participated in the organization of the Young Woman's Missionary society and taught Sunday school classes.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1940. She leaves the daughter, Mrs. Zella Leland of Humboldt, four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Blanche Brock of St. Joseph, Mo.

Funeral services were held this Monday from the Richards home for funerals here, conducted by the Rev. W. W. Steinmetz, pastor of the Winterset Methodist Church. Burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
