ANNABEL MCNAMARA, Des Moines

Memorial services for Annabel McNamara, 91, Des Moines, who died March 26, 1989, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, will be held
at the Collins Funeral Home Thursday, March 30, at 11:00 a.m. The body has been cremated and the ashes will be buried at Winterset Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and five brothers.

Born Sep. 12, 1897 at Rooks County, Kan., she was the daughter of Edgar and Anna Burris Perkins. She married Eugene McNamara on March 9, 1920 at Winterset.

Mrs. McNamara came to Winterset as a baby and lived here until 1969 when she moved to Des Moines. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Des Moines and was a life member of the Madison County Historical Society. She was a member over 50 years of the Columbian Club, Current Topic Club and Chapter AG of PEO, all of Winterset.

Survivors include a son, Dan McNamara of Des Moines; a daughter, Marjorie Ann Smith of Palatine, Ill.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
