Funeral Service For Roy Smith

Roy A. Smith of Winterset, whose death occurred Tuesday, March 21, 1972, at Memorial hospital here, was buried in the Primitive Baptist cemetery Thursday, with military honors by Green-Rogers post of the American Legion.

The Rev. E. E. Jandebeur, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset, conducted the services from Collins Funeral home Thursday.

Mr. Smith was a life-time resident of Madison county. He was born here Aug. 2, 1889, and was 82 years of age at his death. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the American Legion.
