Services Held Feb. 21 for Mrs. Cal Duff

Funeral services were held Feb. 21 from the Methodist church at Stuart for Mrs. Cal Duff of that community, whose death had occurred Feb. 17 at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset. The Rev. Robert Farris of Menlo officiated. Burial was made in the Adair cemetery.

Mrs. Duff was 74 years of age at her death. She was the former Cora E. Marshall, daughter of William and Elizabeth Marshall and was born in Adair county March 27, 1880. Her early life was spent near Dexter, and later at Willow Springs, Mo. She returned to Iowa in 1900.

She was married March 25, 1903, at Adair, to Calvin Duff. They were parents of 11 children, two daughters dying in infancy.

She is survived by her husband, nine children, Mrs. Allen Farwell and James W. Duff of Greenfield, Leland E. Duff of Orient, Mrs. John Fuller of Des Moines, Mrs. Lloyd Dickey of Stuart, Roy Duff of Peru, Donald Duff of Lorimor, Mrs. Bernard Cannon of Kellerton and Leslie Duff of Winterset. She also leaves 29 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a brother, Allie Marshall of California; and three sisters, Mrs. Mae Brown and Nancy A. McHenry of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Hattie DeCamp of Liberal, Kan.
