Ted G. Macumber, 72, of Winterset died May 3, 1994 at the Community Care Center in Winterset. The body was cremated; no services are scheduled.
He was born in Winterset July 25, 1921 to Gile Ersley and Theodora Thankful (Holt) Macumber. He married Betty L. Strong on Oct. 22, 1944 in Winterset. He was a truck driver for E. I. Sergeant Quarries for 30 years and a lifetime resident of Madison County. He was a Protestant.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and two sisters.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Betty Macumber of Winterset; two daughters, Peggy Adam of Naperville, Ill., and Patricia Leutzinger of Joplin, Mo.,; two sisters, Dorothy Travis of Joplin, Mo., and Thelma Keilholtz of Winterset; and three grandchildren.
