Fenner Osborn Death Reported

N. Fenner Osborn, 81, died Monday, Feb. 6, 1978, at Memorial Hospital. He was born October 22, 1896 in Madison County, the son of Charles and Mary Evans Osborn.

A farmer and operator of Fenner Osborn Truck Line, Mr. Osborn was married to Etta Marie Campfield at Princeton, Mo. on December 12, 1921. She survives her husband. He was a lifetime resident of this county.

Mr. Osborn retired in 1969.

Survivors also include a son, Don. D. Osborn of Austin, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Wenzel of Tucson, Arizona, Mrs. Richard D. Hope of Des Moines and Ethel Lee Osborn of Winterset; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild and a brother, Guy Osborn of Aitkin, Minn.

Funeral services were Wednesday, February 8, at 1 p.m. Rev. Alan Parker of Winterset First United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial was made at the Peru Cemetery.

Memorials are being accepted to the Lillard-Miller Scholarship Fund at Winterset High School.

Fenner Osborn was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, one brother and an infant daughter, Marcella.
