Services for Paul Findley Jamison, 86, Winterset, who died Dc. 28 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held Tuesday, Dec. 31 at the First Christian Church in Winterset with the Rev. Robert Brite officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born at Pawnee City, Neb., on Aug. 12, 1899, he was the son of Samuel and Elizah Findley Jamison. He was a retired farmer and had first come to Winterset in 1912.

He was married to Edith Robinson on June 17,1923 at Adel. He was a member of the Christian Church and formerly a member of Zion Federated Church of rural Winterset.

Survivors include sons, Rolland W. and wife Carolyn of Phoenix, Ariz., and Robert R. and wife Callie and Mack and wife JoAnn, all of Winterset; daughters, Eva Short and husband Willard, and Shirley Alice Jamison, all of Winterset; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers, four sisters and a grandson, Robert W. Jamison of Winterset.
