I. W. Brownell, Grand River twp.; farmer, Sec. 6; P.O. Wells; was born in Vermont in 1831, and came to this State in 1868; holds office of post-master, and has filled an unexpired term of county surveyor; he married Miss Harriet E. Hawley in 1858; she was born in Vermont; has four children: Flora A., Bertha A., Almon F., Wilford E.
