Robert C. Brown, Douglas twp.; farmer, Sec. 13; P.O. Winterset; born in Putnam county, Indiana in 1833; came to this county in October 1877; owns 320 acres of land; he married Miss Mary J. Morrison December 18, 1855; she was born in Indiana; has five children: Mary A., Martha W., Emma M., Edward M., Robert W.
