Ethan Christians 1995-2016

September 14, 1995 - March 13, 2016

George, Iowa - Ethan Christians, age 20, of George, died unexpectedly, Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Ashton, Iowa.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the First Baptist Church rural George, Iowa, with Reverend Mike Hagan officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, March 18th from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with family present from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, rural George.

In lieu of flowers family wish memorials to be directed at a later date.

Ethan Dean Christians was born September 14, 1995 in Sibley, Iowa, to Jason and Connie (Symens) Christians. He was raised in George and graduated from George Little Rock High School in 2014.

He attended First Baptist Church in George. Ethan enjoyed spending time with friends and playing video games. He loved to make people laugh, and could always be seen with a grin on his face. He enjoyed playing sports, especially football, and was a fan of the New England Patriots. He recently became a member of the George Betterment Club and enjoyed coaching little league baseball. He was an avid collector of goofy hats and gadgets and various sports jerseys. Ethan was a carefree, spontaneous, easy-going guy who lived to make people feel good. He will be forever loved and missed by all.

He is survived by his parents, Jason and Connie Christians; sister, Jessica Christians of Milford, Iowa; sister, Ashley (Brad) Van Tubergen; and sister, Michelle (Jesse) De Kam, both of George, Iowa; grandparents, Irwin and Cleo Symens of Claremont, South Dakota; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.

Ethan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delmar and Hilda Christians; uncle, Ted Christians and aunt, Ethel Christians.
