Olive Ragnhild Renli – January 13, 1911 – September 26, 1998

Olive Renli, 87, of Canton S. D., died Saturday, September 26, 1998, at Canton Good Samaritan Center.
Services were Tuesday at Grand Valley Lutheran Church, rural Canton, with interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Olive Ragnhild was born January 13, 1911, near Canton. On March 7, 1931, she married Clarence Swenson at Ireton. They lived and farmed near Inwood and Canton. They moved to Oakland, California in 1948 and then to Stockton, California, where she worked as a seamstress at the state hospital. She later moved to Napa, California, after receiving a promotion to head seamstress at the state hospital there. She retired in 1976. She became a resident of Canton Good Samaritan Center August 22, 1998.

Survivors include two brothers, Lee Renli of Canton and Marle Renli of Sioux Falls, S. D., and one sister, Wava Reason of Felton, California
