Funeral Services Held
For Steen Child

The funeral services for Clayton William Rockman, year-old son of Mr.and Mrs. Emil Rockman, of Steen, were held Saturday, April 27, from the Immanuel Lutheran church in Rock Rapids, with Rev. E.H. Mueller officiating. Interment was made at Riverview cemetery at Rock Rapids.

The pall bearers were Alfred Tecken, Alfred Kruse and Alvin and Elmer Dengler.

The child's death occurred at 12:45 p m., April 24, at the VanderWilt hospital In Rock Rapids. Death was attributed to a rare blood disease and the child had been seriously ill for only a week. He was born December 2, 1938, and was one year, 4 months and 22 days old at the time of his death.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emll Rockman, his four-year old sister, Annette, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jelmer Freed, and Mrs. Ida Rockman, of Rock Rapids.

Relatives from a distance were: Mr.and Mrs. H. S. Soost and children, Walter, Elmer and John, all of Wells, Minnesota; Mrs. Myron Hoskins and daughters of Blue Earth, Minnesota; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Witt and daughter, Viola, of Truman, Minnesota; Mrs. Chas. Winterfield and Mrs. Paul Preitz of Madison, Minnesota; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Bredman and son of Cherokee; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Anderson of Larabee, Iowa; Mrs. Oscar Bowe of Orange City, Iowa; Fred Rockman and sons of Bigelow, Minnesota.
