Paul C Van Vooren --- Janary 21, 1938 – May 1, 2011

Paul Van Vooren, 73 years of Winchester, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 at his residence.

He was born in Larchwood, Iowa on January 21, 1938 the son of the late Benjamin and Emma (Lens) Van Vooren.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother; Donald Van Vooren.

Paul was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era and a member of the Winchester American Legion Post #242.

He is survived by his wife Mona (Gregory) Van Vooren of Winchester, two sons and daughters-in-law; Scott and Melissa Van Vooren of New Richmond, Ohio and Travis and Melissa Van Vooren of Fullerton, California, two step sons; Stephen Koontz and Michael Koontz both of Monterey, California, one brother; Bernard Van Vooren of Minnesota, two sisters; Mary Wolff of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Donna Haacke of Des Moines, Iowa, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan in Winchester. Military Rites will be given by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 till 7:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester.

Memorials may be made to Winchester American Legion.
