Lois was born December 24, 1918 in rural Madison, South Dakota to Ben and Vinnie (Heyer) Klassy. She attended school and worked various housekeeping jobs to help her family during the depression years. On June 8, 1938, she married Henry Lohrman. They lived on various rented farms in the Madison area. In 1956, they moved to Madison and purchased a trailer park and laundromat. In 1960, they built a new trailer park on the north side of Madison. Lois and Henry also owned Lake Park Motel for a couple years. In her later years, Lois worked at various retail stores in Madison.

Lois loved the Lord and was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Madison, SD. She enjoyed circle, quilting, and preparing the newsletter. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and crossword puzzles. She took pride in the many afghans and doilies she made for family and friends. She kept a detailed daily diary for many years and could answer many questions by looking back in her diary.

Throughout the years, Lois' love for her family showed in everything she did. She was an awesome wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She always put others before herself and will be greatly missed.

Lois is survived by her daughters, Judy (Richard) Anderson of Lake Havasu City, Aarizona, and Linda (Leon) Meiburg of Rock Rapids, Iowa; son, Jim (Joan) Lohrman of Watertown, South Dakota; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob (Lena) Klassy of Madison, South Dakota, and Ray (Maggie) Klassy of Rapid City, South Dakota; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry; daughter, Virginia Seitz; grandson, Bret Meiburg; and two sisters and three brothers.
