Albert G Blauwet – August 4, 1917 – December 21, 2008

Albert “Al" Blauwet , 91, of Larchwood, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at Fellowship Village, Inwood, Iowa.

Surviving are five children, Roger Blauwet, Washington, D.C., Dale Barney (Judy) Blauwet, Larchwood, Allen Shorty (Sue) Blauwet, Larchwood, Bonnie (Dan) Sehr, Canton, S.D., and Scott Blauwet, Rock Rapids, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with family present from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m., at the Church of St. Mary, Larchwood.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of St. Mary, Larchwood, with the Rev. Jeff Schleisman and the Rev. Jeff Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in Larchwood Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Hope Haven.

Jurrens Funeral Home, Larchwood, is in charge of arrangements.
