Esther DeBoer, 94, of Sibley died Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Country View Manor.

Services were Wednesday, June 23, at First Baptist Church, Sibley, with interment in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, George.

Esther Feldmann was born October 29, 1915, near George, the daughter of John and Minnie (Korfe) Feldmann. She grew up and attended country school near George and graduated from George High School. She went to college and became an LPN. She worked at Sibley Hospital and later at Country View Manor.

On June 15, 1939, she married Fred DeBoer. They lived near George until moving to Sibley in 1950.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald of Little Rock and Mark of Sibley; three grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.
