Abbie Margaret (Moreland) Jungersen

September 15, 1910 – September 2, 2008

Abbie Margaret Moreland was born September 15, 1910 in Greene, Jay Co., Indiana, the daughter of Roy Raymond Moreland and Ada Ann (Heston) Moreland.

She married Raymond Edward Jungersen, the son of Lars Peter Jungersen and Carrie (Teigen) Jungersen on June 20, 1936 in Rock Rapids, Iowa. Together they farmed southeast of Inwood until retiring in 1977. In 1992 they moved into Inwood. Raymond and Abbie moved to Fellowship Village in July of 2003.
Abbie is survived by her husband, four daughters: Judy Griffith of Chicago, Illinois, Nancy McFadden of Aberdeen, South Dakota, Sally (Tarver) Bailey of Appling, Georgia, and Jill (Dave) Linden of Littleton, Colo.; son son, Peter (Clareen) Jungersen of Fallbrook, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
