Obituary:

Inwood, Iowa -- Marion Junge, 88, died Monday, May 5, 2008 at Inwood-Canton Hospital, Canton, South Dakota.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Inwood. Porter Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Marion June Elizabeth Heyden was born June 4, 1919 to Ferdinand and Dora (Mundt) Heyden near Alvord, Iowa. She grew up near Alvord and graduated from Lester High School. Marion was united in marriage to Fredrick "Fritz" Junge on August 1, 1939 in Sioux Falls. Together they farmed north of Inwood, Iowa, before moving to a farm north of Brookings, So. Dak. in 1951. They returned to Inwood in 1970.

Fritz died December 23, 1999. Marion lived in her home before moving to Fellowship Village in 2007.

Marion is survived by her daughter, June Junge of Inwood; 6 sons: Leslie (Bonnie) Junge of Ohatchee, Alabama, Jerry (Henrietta) Junge of Sanborn, Iowa, Virgil (Peggy) Junge of Williamstown, New Jersey, Vernon (Sharon) Junge of Sioux City, Iowa, Hiene (LaVonne) Junge of Rapid City, So. Dak. and Boyd (Sandra) Junge of Sheldon, Iowa; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; brother, Lyle Heyden and his special friend Jean of Larchwood, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fredrick "Fritz" Junge; brother, Harvey Heyden; sister, Lois Weinstein; grandson, Vincent Junge.
