F.A. King, 54, of Hawarden, and father of F.A. King Jr., of George, passed away in a Hawarden hospital on Friday. He was born in Battle Creek, Iowa.

Surviving are his widow, Cecil, two sons, Fletcher a. Jr., of George, Iowa and Melvin D., of Hawarden, and four daughters, Mrs. Lilya Harms, Moville; Mrs. Ruther Kronmenhoek, and Mrs. Ferne Larsen of Sioux City and Mrs. Lora Goot of Sheldon, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at the Frazier funeral home in Hawarden and at 2:30 p.m. at the Assembly of God church in Storm Lake cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. King of George went to Hawrden on Friday and remained until after the funeral. Others attending the funeral rite were Judy King, Mr. and Mrs. P. S. Veenker and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Rypkema.
