Lynda Frances Thiessen died at Moe hospital, Sioux Falls, S. D., Dec 16, 1928, after an illness of one week. She was born at Larchwood, Lyon county, Iowa Feb. 26, 1904. She attended Lester public school and graduated in 1923, after which she attended the state teachers college at Cedar Falls. She taught for four years near Lester.

She leaves to mourn her death, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Emil Thiessen; three sisters, Mrs. F. J. Williams, of Long Beach, Calif.; Delma, of Sioux Falls, SD., and Norma, who is at home, and many other relatives and a host friends.

Funeral services were held Dec. 19, at th M. E. church at Lester in charge of Rev. H. R. Blair, of Larchwood.

The remains were laid to rest in Larchwood cemetery beside her grandmother. Pall bearers were Elmer Hartenholf, Harry Schwenck,.Will Heagele, Ott Heagele, Warner Dell and Garret DeMan. Miss Thiessen was to have been married in the near future. Many friends regret her early passing away.
