Mrs. Harm Eilders, 44, died at the Rock Rapids hospital on Friday, April 6, 1951 after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Harm Eilders had been a resident of this community all her life and her passing brings sorrow to her many friends and relatives.

Funeral services were held from the Eilders home and from the Lyon County First Presbyterian church on Tuesday afternoon with Rev. M.H. Brower officiating. Interment was made in the Presbyterian Church cemetery.

Mrs. Harm D. Eiders, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Krahling, was born September 20, 1906 in Dale Township, Lyon County, Iowa. She was baptized in infancy and confirmed in the Lutheran church. She attended the country school and later the Sheldon High School in Sheldon, Iowa. On February 12, 1929, she was married to Harm D. Eilders of George, Iowa, and they resided on a farm southeast of George since that time. For the past two years she was in frail health and on February 21, 1951, she became seriously ill when she was taken to the Rock Rapids hospital, where she remained until her death on Friday. She attained the age of 44 years, 6 months and 17 days.

She leaves to mourn her untimely death, her beloved husband, Harm Eilders, and seven children, 4 daughters and 3 sons, as follows: Mrs. Elvin (Ruth) Lamfers, Mr. Arvin Eilders, Mrs. Edgar (Janet) DeLeeuw, Richard and Robert, and 2 grandsons, besides her mother, Mrs. Gertie Krahling of Ashton, Iowa, and four sisters: Miss Allie Krahling of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Augusta Kruger of George, Iowa; Mrs. Christine Eder of Rock Rapids, Iowa; and Mrs. Zaida Boerhave of Matlock; also five brothers, Dan Krahling of George, Iowa, Henry Krahling of Omaha, Nebraska; William J Krahling of Sheldon, Iowa and Carl and Glen Krahling of Ashton, Iowa.

Her father, John W. Krahling, one sister, Mrs. Anna Rinderknecht of Atkins, Iowa, and one brother, Jack Krahling of Rock Rapids, Iowa, preceded her in death.
