William Aldorfer, 92, of Rock Rapids died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at Rock Rapids Health Center.

Services were Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church, Rock Rapids, with interment in Mountain View Memorial Park, Tacoma, Wash.

Mr. Aldorfer was born Jan. 5, 1911, in Saskatchewan, Canada. He grew up in Nelson, Minn., and graduated from Alexandria High School in 1928. He attended North Dakota State University three years, then worked in California five years. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was employed by Carnation Milk Co., South Dayton, N.Y.

On April 5, 1941, he married Evelyn Bratrud in Buffalo, N.Y. For Carnation, he was assigned work areas in Michigan, Ohio and New York before being assigned to a territory in Wisconsin. He later worked one year for Amboy Milk Products Co., Amboy, Ill., then 20 years as a milk control sanitation supervisor in 13 counties for the Illinois Public Health Depart-ment. He retired in 1977 and the couple lived at Lake Burgen in Alexandria. In 1995 they moved to Osakis, Minn., and to Rock Rapids Health Centre on Feb. 8, 2002.

Survivors include his wife; four children, Thora Aldorfer of Lakewood, Colo., David of Rochester Hills, Mich., William of Boulder, Colo., and Mrs. Rev. George (Mary) Clausen of Rock Rapids, and five grandchildren.
