Berend (Ben) J. Stubbe, a son of Jan and Dorothea Kupers Stubbe was born September 15, 1888 in the Netherlands. He passed away at the Restmore Nursing Home in Rock Rapids Iowa on June 3, 1970.

He is survived by four brothers in the Netherlands, a nephew, Hilko Stubbe of Rock Rapids, Iowa and many nieces and nephews in the Netherlands. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services for Ben J. Stubbe were held at the Jongewaard-Staap Funeral Home in Rock Rapids on Saturday, June 6, 1970 with interment at the Bethel Reformed Church cemetery near Ellsworth, Minnesota with full military honors.
