Junior "Sonny" Norman, 65, of Kent, Washington, died Friday Aug. 8, 2003, at Auburn Washington Hospital

Born Aug. 8, 1938, in Sibley, Osceola county, Iowa, he was the son of Adolf and Annie (Stubbe) Norman. He attended country school near Sibley. He was in the US. Navy for four years. After that, he worked as a painter in Worthington, Minnesota for Bill Burns. In 1961 he was united in marriage to Mary Wills. He then moved to Washington in 1963 and was employed at Pac Car for 20 years. In 1983, he moved. to Ocheyedan, Iowa, and in 1984, he moved to Heron Lake, Minnesota, where I he worked for Bunge Elevators for 14 years. He then worked for Worthington Rendering plant for two years. In 1998, he returned to the state of Washington.

Surviving are two sons, Tim (JoAnn) Norman, Kent, Washington, Terry Norman, Washington, one daughter, Amanda Norman, Texas; two brothers, Arlon (Dora) Norman, Worthington, Minnesota, Ivan (Bev) Norman, Hobbs, New Mexico; three sisters, Evelyn Doeden, Worthington, Minnesota, Dolores Wolf, , Leavenworth, Washington, Lois . (Roger) Sixta, Ocheyedan, Iowa; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral service was held August 12, 2003 in Kent, Washington.
