Funeral services for Florence Heronimus, 85, of Luverne, Minnesota, were held October 28, 1992 in First Baptist Church, Luverne, with interment in Maplewood Cemetery.

She died Sunday, October 25, 1992 in Luverne Community Hospital.

Florence Margaret Korf was born February 3, 1907, in Rock Rapids, Lyon county, Iowa. When she was 7 years old, her family moved to Ellsworth, Minnesota, where she attended school.

In 1928, she married Samuel Heronimus. After living in Ellsworth for a short time, in 1950, they moved to Luverne, where they farmed for 19 years. She was employed by Northwestern Bell, Dr. Nelson’s chiropractic office, the Blue Mound Inn and did sewing for others.

She served as Sunday School teacher, deaconess and on the Women’s Missionary Society at First Baptist Church of Luverne.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Durward of Lincoln, Nebraska; two daughters, Joyce Leonard of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Lonell Wills of Hastings, Minnesota; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
